  • Are there any CGT consequences as at date of death?
  • The tax implications when a deceased’s CGT asset:
  • transfers to the legal personal representative
  • passes to a beneficiary
  • Cost base rules for dwellings
  • Assets bequeathed by a foreign resident to an Australian resident
  • What about if the deceased owned joint assets?
  • Transferring a CGT asset from the LPR to the trustee of a testamentary trust (PSLA 2003/12)
  • What if there is no will?
